Procurement

Tampereen Infra Oy is a public procurement unit, whose procurement activities are guided by, among other things, the Procurement Act. The Procurement Act obliges us to tender for goods and services worth over 60,000 euros and construction contract procurement worth over 150,000 euros in the public procurement procurement channel Hilma. In addition to individual procurements, we tender for and conclude long-term framework agreements with several suppliers, the monetary values of which can be up to several tens of millions. We also tender for smaller procurements worth less than 60,000 euros, but with lighter procedures.

Before each procurement, we strive to review the market situation and potential suppliers. This allows us to share information about the tender with as many potential suppliers as possible. We strive to engage in dialogue with suppliers in advance so that we can consider the best solutions in the tender.

Tampereen Infra Oy’s procurement volume is several tens of millions of euros annually, most of which consists of external services. We are a responsible operator, and we demand the same from our partners.
